Hey Guys,
Cell phones in Taipei can be hard to come by. From my experience on the island you have to have established credit in Taiwan, as well as be over 21. Also most plans in Taiwan require you to sign a 2 year contract.
The best thing to do is to get a prepaid phone. There are no contracts with the phone, and the best thing is you can recharge the phone anytime you want by picking up minutes at a local 7/11 store. 7/11's are EVERYWHERE, so this is not a problem. If you have a phone with a SIM card, all you will need to do is to get a new SIM card, I recommend going with the "IF" company cards. Hope this helps and see you at ICLP
